Play stupid games, win stupid money.

I'm enjoying watching the dumpster fire that is Elon Musk wrecking Twitter. While I do feel for the people who are summarily fired, laid off, or even staying, one must remember that the employees of Twitter must have seen this coming once the court stuff started up earlier this year re: Elon and ex-Twitter Board members to force his hand into buying the company.

If they were proactive, they would have already put feelers out, waited for the fallout and then bailed and/or landed. Sometimes though, things don't work out and so those who tried to prepare and didn't have any of those marketable skills, that next job lined up - this is a harsh lesson to learn for them.

Still, the blame all goes to Musk for truly wrecking Twitter and its work culture in spectacular fashion. Of course, he'll get his AI from SpaceX & Tesla and he won't need the alleged 2k people left over from The Purge.

And...Twitter will be even more of a shithole when the AI becomes biased, racists and generally bad.
