Still Distracted by "Star Wars"

And start adding "Assassin's Creed 2" of all things onto that list. I like watching CinemaWins/GamingWins on occasion and somehow, ended up watching GamingWins' review of the original "Assassin's Creed" and then decided to go play AC2.

Anyways, the AC kick should pass soon. I tend to ebb and flow into some of these fixations at time. The "Star Wars" one is definitely not ebbing which is surprising. I am not a fan of the new canon except for a select few things ("Mandalorian", "Jedi: Fallen Order/Jedi: Survivor", "Rebels", parts of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" and hopefully the new "Ahsoka" series). I absolutely detest the the sequel trilogy for it's shodding pacing and writing. Acting was okay - but character and storylines were a hot mess.

As for those curious - I never watched "Clone Wars" the TV series. I know everyone says it's good and I should watch it, but I think it's primarily because I couldn't be sold by Anakin Skywalkers characterization in the prequels and so seeing his character and a foregone arc in "Clone Wars" doesn't intrigue me. I could watch it for Obi-Wan, who I think excelled in the prequels, but I have massive issues with the whole Satine Kryze arc...yeah. I think I was spoiled by the "Jedi: Apprentice" book series way back when, which cemented Obi-Wan's character in my head.

I'll be writing more 2DL history tidbits soon.
