I'm pleased to announce that I have started my next novel and it'll be focused on the 3rd Continental Light Dragoons, also known as Baylor's Horse (and perhaps with the infamous reputation of being the most disaster prone of all the Continental Light Dragoon regiments).
Led initially by Colonel Baylor, after the events that led to its first massacre, Lt. Colonel William Washington (George's cousin) was placed in charge and rebuilt the regiment to its former glory before having disaster befall it again during the campaigns against Banastre Tarleton and Greene's campaign in the Carolinas (and leading to the 2nd massacre).
My initial estimates are a 2-book series, but may expand into 3 books depending on how I want to bridge the narratives. The plan is to have Book 1 of the 3rd Light published in about 2 years time.

I just finished Soldiers and it was difficult to put down. The series was fantastic. I love your writing style as it puts one in the action. I could almost smell the gun powder, horses and hear the arguments. You brought Washington to life. I look forward to more and await the tribulations of the 3rd Light Dragoons. Thanks for your good work.
