Also - the battle strategy of Jon Snow was shit. Even if the Dothraki are the most feared horsemen of Westeros, they are LIGHT cavalry. You do not place squishy light cavalry in the front or on a charge. You use them as flankers.

You use the Unsullied as the draw-in force and siege weapons, then flank with cavalry. You also have your dragons in the air all the time, as bombers/flanking attacks. You do not for whatever reason ground them. Idiots. This battle could have gone better.
